Agent Sasco personally delivered a copy of his Hope River album to Jamaica Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
Sasco, aka Assassin, has been getting rave reviews for his new album Hope River, and if you haven’t listened to the project yet, then you can find it on Apple Music/iTunes and Spotify. Andrew Holness is among some well-known names who are praising the dancehall icon for his latest body of work, which represents the best of dancehall and the best of Jamaica’s popular music.
“There’s nothing like some good inspirational music to get us all through the week,” Holness wrote. “This afternoon, Agent Sasco @agentsasco presented me with his new album ‘Hope River,’ and I took the opportunity to listen to a few of the tracks. This album showcases inspirational and uplifting songs which makes it worthy of Billboard status.”
The Prime Minister also shared a few photos of himself with Agent Sasco. “It gives me pleasure to see the emergence of music that inspires Jamaicans to focus on what truly matters; to work with one another, support and uplift each other,” Andrew Holness continues. “Agent Sasco has continued to give us quality music that transcends age, class and borders.”
