The Voice season 5 winner Tessanne Chin has reached a new height in her career.
The Jamaican songstress has been billed to perform at the White House at the upcoming concert Women of Soul.
Chin will be performing alongside some icons in soul music including Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, and Jill Scott.
Other artists on the lineup put together by First Lady Michelle Obama includes Ariana Grande, Janelle Monae, and Melissa Ethridge.
The concert aims to highlight the contribution and struggles of women in American Music. A group of students will be participating in a workshop where they will learn more about women of soul music.
The concert “Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House” will be broadcast live on the official White House website and also aired on April 7 on PBS.
