Popular Jamaican entertainer Alkaline did an act of kindness many privileged individuals might not be willing to emulate.
Alkaline made a sizable donation of $200,000 Jamaican dollars to two patients suffering from cancer back in 2014
The dancehall deejay who was made aware of the ladies’ situationthrough his management team, made the cash donation to the two women to offset their medical cost and treatment.
In a press release submitted to Irie FM’s music news, Alkaline said he assisted the ladies as a way of testing himself.
The deejay also stated that he wanted to understand what it would feel like to do some good for others.
The recipient wrote on her Facebook: “I’m really thankful for what that young man did….i was able to get treatment when it seemed hopeless..Alkaline i thank up to this day”
