Ishawna Says Foota Hype Abused Her Plus Show Photos

Dancehall diva Toya and wife of Downsound Records head Joe Bogdanovich is dead.

A rep for the label confirmed with Urban Islandz that she died on Thursday in Miami following a long battle with diabetes.

“She was in Miami for treatment but sadly she didn’t make it,” sources told us.

Two years ago her condition left her blind and that temporarily sidelined her music career.

DSR reps also revealed that she took her blindness pretty hard and was looking to get treatment before she passed on.

“After going blind she took it pretty hard but all of Downsound rallied around her and Joe,” the label’s rep said. “Toya was a great human being and a great singer its just sad that her life and career was cut so short.”

Toya, whose real name is Latoya Jackson, was the common-law wife of Joe Bogdanovich and also the first lady for Downsound Records.

She burst onto the dancehall scene in 2007 with “Too Sexy” and in 2010 she release “Hot Like A Fire.”

The saga between Ishawna, Foota Hype and Joe Bogdanovich is getting crazier by the day.

Earlier this week Foota Hype did an interview with British radio personality Gibbo, where he put his ex-girlfriend and baby mother on blast.

According to the veteran sound system selector says he found out that Ishawna has been intimately involved with with head of Downsound Records Joe Bogdanovich and also Downsound producer Skatta Burrell.

Now a leaked video show Joe Bogdanovich scolding Ishawna for turning up to a video shoot set late. Later in the video Joe could be seen telling Ishawna to let loose during a steamy scene in the shoot.

According to the DJ he did not expect Ishawna to stoop so low and have sex with his boss and co worker. He also said Ishawna was upset with him because he didn't want to take part in threesome and oral sex.

Foota Hype leaves Downsound Records because Ishawna released songs under the label disrespecting him.

"Effective this minute, rite now, @footahypemusic is no longer a part of the @downsound_music company. I QUIT, resigned, lef di work, which ever way wi can put it, on the basis of not getting the respect I deserve from the company CEO Joseph Bogdanovich, as in them producing and releasing material in the form of a song that is aimed at violating and disrespecting me and my brand," Foota hype said.

"I will not work for a company that is deliberately trying to tear down my brand, image and character in order to make another person in same company relevant. At the end of the day, I was Foota Hype before @downsound_music and will continue to be after."

Foota Hype went a bit further. He said he was disrespected by the songs Restraining Order and Cry Baby done by Ishawna.

"Mi get disrespected by Ishawna, and Joe doing nothing about it. Is like things gone from business to personal, so I decided to leave.

Foota is always Foota. When I went to Downsound, it was nowhere in dancehall like where it is now. It is my energy that bring them to the forefront. Mi find hit wid Specialist, mi find hit wid Nature. The only hit Ishawna have, is me mek it. Mi a do my work, and dem a deal wid soap opera thing, and mi nuh deh pon dat," he told the media.
